Take a trip to Croydon in the Mountain southeast of Montego Bay in the interior of the island for an exciting adventure as you journey into the majestic mountainous country where lush vegetation, wild flowers and trickling waterfalls await you. This working plantation nestled in the foothills of the Catadupa Mountains provides a breathtaking and panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. It is also the birthplace of Samuel Sharpe, one of Jamaica’s national heroes. Croydon is a prize-winning plantation and has won the coveted National Champion Plantation trophy several times. While you are here sample some of the exotic fruits and drinks. Taste different varieties of pineapples and citrus, or nibble on a piece of sweet juicy sugar cane. Take a walk through the coffee groves while your tour guide explains the secrets of coffee cultivation and processing.
